Engagement & Experience
Our people are at the heart of Insmed’s success, and we work hard to ensure every employee feels connected, energized, and inspired. From onboarding to ongoing development, we build a culture where engagement isn’t an initiative — it’s a way of working.
Building a highly engaged workforce
Our business success depends on an engaged workforce where all employees feel comfortable and empowered to be their authentic selves. Having a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives among our employees enables us to better serve the needs of our patients. Insmed’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics as well as other company policies outline our expectations for how employees, officers, and directors conduct themselves and how we operate in a way that enables everyone to feel respected and heard.
Supporting our culture through training
Training is a powerful tool for building an inclusive culture. New hires and employees stepping into people management roles complete anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training that meets applicable legal requirements. Our Fearless Dialogues program helps leaders build trust and open dialogue, while Interviewing with Impact embeds inclusive hiring practices for all hiring managers. We also offer Japanese cultural training for our Executive Committee and colleagues working closely with our Japan-based teams.

Connecting & inspiring people
We rely on input from our people to ensure the employee experience and our overall culture remain strong. Insmed Immersion, our two-and-a-half-day onboarding program, welcomes new hires into our culture, ways of working, and core processes, and we actively gather feedback from new hires to continue improving the experience. We maintain a continuous, two-way dialogue with employees through multiple channels: regular Town Halls that keep teams informed on business strategy and goals, our Inspire Awards program that celebrates employees who bring our values to life, and an annual pulse survey that gives leaders actionable insights to strengthen our people strategy. Together, these touchpoints fuel the culture of collaboration that makes Insmed a place where people feel heard, valued, and connected to our mission.
